Max Therapy Institute (MTI) welcomes students from all over the world. MTI is closely linked with the massage industry which enables us to identify the needs of the massage sector and the ability to tailor courses to meet the growing industry needs.

Max Therapy Institute offers a range of courses for international students from Certificate Ⅳ  right through to Advanced Diploma level. Our courses are nationally recognised and have been CRICOS approved to deliver to international students. With our modern training facilities and experienced staff,students will receive industry relevant training delivered in variety of settings including; classroom, and student clinic.

MTI is committed to ensuring high quality training and the best student support throughout their study period with us. Our class sizes are small to ensure a high level of one on one tutoring as well as generating a great sense of community support within the school. Max Therapy Institute delivers nationally recognised qualifications from the Australian Qualifications Framework(AQF).

English Requirements

All classes at Max Therapy Institute are conducted in English. International students are required to show evidence that have the required level of English proficiency during the application process. If students who do not meet the minimum English Requirements for their intended course, MTI offers ELICOS courses to improve students’ English language proficiency

Student Visa Information

To be eligible for a student visa, students must first be accepted for full-time study with Max Therapy Institute. Prior to enrolling, it is important that students have a good understanding of the visa regulations for their country of origin. Information about studying as an international student in Australia can be found on the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) website or contact your local Australian Embassy/Consulate.

International Student Support

International students at Max Therapy Institute are supported with an orientation which will guide students through course requirements and expectations. All Trainers & Assessors are experienced at teaching their subjects to all levels of learners including international students where English is not their first language. During students study period, Student Advisors can offer the following services:

  • Accommodation advice and support
  • Ongoing student advice and support
  • Course and career pathway counselling
  • Resume and interview preparation
  • Language, literacy and numeracy assistance.
