This qualification is designed for complete beginners in massage and reflects the role of massage therapists who provide general health maintenance treatments. Study units include First Aid, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. For Students wanting to continue study after successful completion of this qualification can apply for course credit for the HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage.Clinical Requirements
Students enrolled in HLT42015 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy are required to complete a minimum of 80 hours practical experience in MTI’s fully supervised Student Massage Clinic involving at least 40 massage treatment sessions including assessment on both male and female clients from different stages of life with varied presentations

13 Units of Competency are required for award of this qualifications consisting of 10 Core Units and 3 Elective units. Students must have also completed 80 hours of Work Placement.
