This qualification is designed for complete beginners in massage and reflects the role of massage therapists who provide general health maintenance treatments. Study units include First Aid, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. For Students wanting to continue study after successful completion of this qualification can apply for course credit for the HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage.

13 Units of Competency are required for award of this qualifications consisting of 10 Core Units and 3 Elective units. Students must have also completed 80 hours of Work Placement.

  • IELTS score of 5.5 (Academic) or equivalent

Pathways

Student who successfully completed the HLT42015 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy qualification may be able to continue their studies with HLT52315 Diploma of Remedial Massage, HLT52015 Diploma of Clinical Aromatherapy, 22316VIC Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy and Bachelor of Health Science.
