General English Courses at Max are intended to provide you with the language skills you need to function in social contexts and to pursue vocational educational training in Australia. Max English General English Programs focus on the foundational language skills you need, providing a solid foundation in grammar and the core skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.  

Our GE Levels: 

Elementary – Basic survival skills and the language you need for most common encountered situations.  

Pre-Intermediate – Skills you need to engage effectively in many social interactions and routines. 

Intermediate – English language skills to help you engage in more advanced forms of social interaction, especially in more complex contexts. 

Upper-Intermediate – Providing you a broad range of English skills for all social interactions and to prepare you for entry into Max Therapy Institute’s Courses.  

Advanced – The foundation you need to have a deeper understanding and appreciation of the cultural dimension of language interaction and its social contexts.

Max Events: Cloud 9 Day (Pamper and relaxation day with flotation tanks, Massage, Dry Needling, Cupping and Aromatherapy), Max Birthday Bash, Multicultural Day, Aussie Beach Day, Sports Day, BBQ lunch in the park and Picnic day

Material: Max English teaches with the “Face2face” books published by Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, United Kingdom. These texts enable our students to learn more English with interactive exercises, useful downloads, games, and weblinks. Practice your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, and reading, and have some fun too. Available for each level.

Teacher: Our teachers are fully qualified with extensive experience. They strive to provide a supportive and collaborative environment that create a sense of belonging in the classroom. Each one of Max English teachers are approachable, engaging and dedicated to give you the best experience studying English in Australia.

Duration: 4 to 50 weeks studying (not including holidays) or 60 weeks including holidays.

Intake: Every Monday

Mode of Study and Assessment: This course is delivered in a classroom environment with formative (weekly tests) and summative (mid-course level test and end of course level test) assessments.
Entry Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Entry into all course levels depends on English Placement Test results
Tuition Fee = $180/Week, Material Fee = $110/Level (Maximum $400), Application Fee = $250
