Dry Needling is the use of trigger point therapy utilising a solid, filament needle. The use of dry needling will increase the longevity of the therapist. Dry needling is a modality that is used in the treatment of myofascial trigger points, using small-diameter needles to deactivate them. Participants will learn not only how to insert a needle, but how to locate points using anatomical landmarks and use specific treatment protocols to treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, using dry needling techniques in a safe and effective manner.

Level 1 Dry Needling  – Upper Body

Level 2 Dry Needling – Lower Body

Practitioners only. It is recommended that participants hold a minimum of a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice or Diploma of Remedial Massage qualification or extensive experience in massage industry.

Students who successfully pass all requirements will be issued with a  certificate of attendance.
