Trigger points, also known are described as hyperirritable spots in skeletal muscle that are associated with palpable nodules in taut bands of muscle fibres. Referred pain from trigger points mimics the pain of common symptoms, thus the application of trigger point therapy will aid in the relief of other symptoms not just musculoskeletal. Participants will learn how to identify and release a trigger point to restore movement and reduce pain.

It is recommended that participants hold a minimum of a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice qualification or experience in massage industry.

Students who successfully pass all requirements will be issued with a  certificate of attendance.

NOTE: Recognition from Massage Associations are currently under approval.
